About Me

Bader Eddin Kilani

Academic Career

Hello,

My name is Bader. I spent 15 years studying at Rashid Al Saleh Private School in Dubai, from kindergarten through high school, where I graduated with a Tawjihiyya score of 98.1%. After graduation, I pursued a career in pharmacy and completed a foundation year at the University of Huddersfield in England, graduating with a 93.63% average. I then transferred to the University of Manchester to study a semester of the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) program before deciding to switch my major to Biomedical Sciences at the University of Birmingham in Dubai.

This page will explore a range of topics, including insights into student life studying Biomedical Sciences, as well as my experiences with coding and language learning. For more information, please scroll down below.

Interests

I am deeply interested in the physiology of the human body, medical treatments for various conditions, and the mechanisms underlying diseases. These areas are central to my studies in Biomedical Sciences and align with my goal of advancing medical science and healthcare.

Outside of my academic focus, I enjoy watching football. Although it is not directly related to my field of study, it provides a welcome break and keeps me engaged with current events.

Coding

I am currently learning to code through an app called Mimo, specifically in the "Full-Stack Developer" course. This app offers an engaging learning experience with features like a leaderboard and streak tracking, which help maintain motivation. I find it to be a valuable resource and would recommend it to anyone interested in developing their coding skills.

Digital Marketing

I am currently studying Digital Marketing with Tecswann, a company based in Dubai. The course is progressing well and has been highly informative. I would recommend anyone interested in digital marketing to consider enrolling in a course with Tecswann or to contact me for digital marketing services.

Hobbies

I enjoy a variety of activities, including jogging, swimming, reading, writing, and playing football. I am particularly intrigued by the prospect of competing in swimming and football, though I believe patience is essential for achieving success in these areas.

Writing is another passion of mine; I find it to be the best way to express myself and organize my thoughts. The satisfaction of completing a piece of writing, whether it's 500 words or more, is truly rewarding.

Languages

I have a strong passion for learning new languages. Although I began learning French as a child and learned to count from 1 to 20, I did not continue with the course at that time. Currently, I am fluent in Arabic and English, and I am using Duolingo to learn Spanish. My current proficiency level in Spanish is "very early A1" with a score of 9. I am about to start Section 2 of the course. I highly recommend Duolingo to anyone interested in learning a new language for its user-friendly and motivating approach.

Daily Routine

As a Muslim, my day begins early. I wake up around 5 AM to pray Fajr, followed by a 15-minute jog outside. After returning home, I take a shower and read a page of the Quran. By 6 AM, I have breakfast and prepare for my day, which may include driving lessons or working at Iremedies, a supplements company where I volunteer.

I follow a structured meal plan and go to the gym five days a week to stay fit. Additionally, I play football as a right back for Cleopatra FC three times a week.
